MUD Tech

MUD Tech are developing and building Marine Underwater Drones. They are developing their MUD technologies to monitor the harbours in the Far North for an invasive biosecurity threat called Mediterranean Fan Worm. This organism is a filter feeder and rapidly outcompetes kai moana species such as scallops, mussels and oysters if gets established. MUD Tech are pitching their marine monitoring services to Northland Regional Council.
